Dripping Icicles Nail Stamping Tutorial
When I saw the dripping icicles image on the Creative Shop plates I knew I HAD to use it in a mani.
I started off with Femme Fatale Crystal Droplets, a Beautometry.com store exclusive polish on all nails. I then sponged on Powder Perfect Lagoon to the tips of my nails after applying Moyra Liquid Tape. The Moyra Liquid Tape helps for easier cleanup on the cuticles when sponging nail art or stamping. I finished over the gradient using Powder Perfect Lightning Lady as a top coat
Then, I stamping with the Creative Shop stamper and Hit the Bottle As Black As Night stamping polish the dripping icicles image from Creative Shop plate 37. After removing the Moyra Liquid Nail Tape, I topped everything off again with the Powder Perfect Lightning Lady top coat.
What do you think? Is it chilly where you are?

Epiphany Gradient Manicure Featuring A England and Messy Mansion MM01 Stamping Plate
I've always wanted to do one of these manicures with the gradient twilight look in the background. What better time than the Epiphany (The Feast of the Three Kings).
Check out the video tutorial I created for this look :)
Have you ever done one of these manicures?

Peacock Inspired Nail Stamping: Faux Duochrome
I stumbled upon a neat technique to create a sort of faux duo-chrome look between 2 polishes. I really liked the way it looked so I decided to play around and created this look with it.
I first started with a thin coat of China Glaze Towel Boy Toy and then a thin coat of China Glaze Kiwi Cool-ada. Then, I finished with a third thin patchy coat of China Glaze Towel Boy Toy. The end effect was that you could see some of the color showing through in certain areas and it really looked like different colors across the nail as I moved my fingers. I think it looked like a faux duo-chrome and was really easy to do!
After adding Seche Vite top coat, I stamped with Hit the Bottle As Black as Night using the MoYou Rectangular stamper and MoYou London Mandala plate 02 (the image in the upper left corner).
I love the way this turned out! It reminds me of a peacock's feathers.
Do you think it looks kind of like a duo-chrome?

MoYou London Tropical 08: You Put the Lime in the Coconut ...
Feeling tropical today and wanted to do a gradient. So, what better than to pull out the MoYou London Tropical plates and play!
I started off using the new Beautometry Gradient Sponge set to create a gradient using Kleancolor Wave of Peppermint (which smells like peppermint when dry), Kleancolor Bikini Green, and Kleancolor Apple Candy (scented to smell like apple when dry).
I then used Hit the Bottle Black and the MoYou London Rectangular stamper to stamp images from MoYou London Tropical 08 onto my nails and topped it all off with my new favorite top coat: Seche Vive (doesn't smear the stamping!!).
The accent nail has the gradient in reverse compared to the other nails. I like the way this mani came together with the limes on the accent nail and the coconut leaves on the other ones. Very tropical indeed!

7 Days of St Patrick's Day Nail Challenge: Day 4: Gold Stamping with Hit the Bottle
Continuing with the 7 Days of St. Patrick's Day Nail art challenge I found on Facebook, I decided to go for some gold stamping :)
I started with a base of Arcane Lacquer Reflective Property, which is a Beautometry.com store exclusive, and as an accent nail used A England Briarwood. The 2 colors go very well together.
I then stamped with el Corazon red stamping polish one of the crosses on the Messy Mansion plate MM54.

Last, I stamped with various Hit the Bottle golds the full nail pattern. I think it turned out really cool and is like a gradient of golds with the stamping being a different one on each nail. How many different gold stamping polishes do you have?
Closeup to see how good the stamping turned out, look at those details!

7 Days of St Patrick's Day Nail Challenge: Day 1: The Dancing Leprechaun
For St. Patrick's Day, I decided to join a challenge to produce 7 days of St Patrick's Day nails. I thought this would be fun and festive!
I decided to start with a base of Kleancolor Bikini Green, which is a great neon green color. It took about 3 coats to make it opaque enough but looks great.
I then stamped using Hit the Bottle As Black as Night and Hit the Bottle Be Cider-self stamping polishes from Beautometry.com. I stamped the images from Messy Mansion plate MM04, which has a lot of fun St. Patrick's Day images on it.
What do you think? I love it! I used FUN Lacquer King on the accent nail and rally like that extra holographic sparkle it added to the shamrocks.
