Femme Fatale Isle of Cythera Captain America Manicure

Another Femme Fatale polish in the Birth of Venus Collection is Isle of Cythera. Isle of Cythera is also a holographic polish! I knew I had to use that one in something fun and when I saw the star in the circle in Messy Mansion MM15 I knew it would make a great manicure.

I first polished all nails with Femme Fatale Isle of Cythera and then painted the accent nail with Esmaltes da Kelly Hipapa. I stamped the star in the circle image from MM15 with the Creative Shop Galaxy Stamper using Isle of Cythera.

Then top coated everything with Seche Vive top coat. It is the newest Seche product and is a top coat that is gel-like but dries on its own. I find that it has the same glassy goodness of Seche Vite but you don't need to float the top coat in order to avoid smearing the stamping.

Have you used Seche Vive yet? What's your favorite top coat for stamping?

**Right now you can get a great deal on the Creative Shop Galaxy Stampers and refills at Beautometry.com!!**
Stamper sets are $5 (regularly $12) and refill heads are $4.50 (regularly $10.00)Just click here.

  3. That holo! :) OOOH LA LA! I try a few indie brand top coats for stamping, I'm lucky with no smearing/dragging as long as I float above the nail.

    1. Yes, don't you just hate when you spend time on a detailed stamping mani and then forget and end up with a smeared image?

  4. I use a top coat by NailNation 3000 for nail art - it is great about not smearing stamping.

    1. It is really like Vite but better! I just don't like it's not a clear bottle.

  8. Do you experience any shrinkage with the Vive? That was always my biggest complaint with Vite, it had terrible tip shrinkage with my body chemistry!

    1. I haven't but I also really haven't experienced the shrinkage with Seche Vite so I may not be the best to ask about that. I just had the smearing if I didn't float it over stamping.
